The best thing you can do to beat GW is to keep growing as a player – GW ‘s difficulty caps out, so by the time you’re level 85 with a handful of G11s under your belt you can just auto it until you’ve hit your 150 completions and then you can just sim it. Bastila lead Jedi should be fine for GW , but G9 is pretty weak.
As of the latest version update (22/11/2017), GW is now capped at the difficulty a new player who has just reached level 85 would receive. Once you’re level 85, regardless of how powerful your own squads become, GW will have the same difficulty .

He did, incorrectly, assume that it was based solely on your highest arena power, but after speaking to a programmer confirmed that it was as above. Once your benchmark is set, it can’t be reduced, only increased.

I’d heard the difficulty of GW is based on your level, your squad power, and your squad arena rank. I went down to rank 2500 or something like that for a couple days and saw ZERO improvement. In fact, it’s gotten even harder. So I’m convinced that the GW difficulty is a mixture of your best possible squad power, and what EA server you’re on.

The GW matchmaking algorithm scrapes the database of current GW teams to pull a close match for the intended power level for all 12 nodes of the player’s map. Once the reset is pressed, I believe that the matchmaking algorithm goes through the list of all potential GW teams at that moment.
